The Northern Nigeria Youths Council on the 4th of December, 2020 in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, bestowed on Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, OFR, the award of  Garkunwa Matassan Arewa (The Shield of the Northern Youth), cynosure of nation building..  Conferring the award on Mazi Ohuabunwa, the National President of NNYC, Dr Isa Abubakar, stated that

Miss Precious Amarachi Akabueze and Mr. Chimdi Kanu were on the 29th of December 2019 crowned Most beautiful Girl in Arochukwu and Mr. Arochukwu respectively. The event which took place at the Main Hall, Nmadiya Hotels, Oror, Arochukwu saw hundreds converge at the venue to witness the making of a new beauty Queen and King.
