The historic coronation of Mazi Logan Okoroji as Eze Ogo has marked the beginning of a new era for Ujari Koko Obasi. This momentous occasion symbolizes progress, unity, and growth for the community.
Mazi Logan Okoroji’s journey to the throne began on July 21, 2021, when he took over the signet of authority, following years of persuasion from the community. Although his coronation was met with initial opposition, peace was eventually restored through the efforts of Ujari’s vibrant youths, elite, and elderly members.
The community celebrated this milestone on December 30, 2024, and subsequently presented Eze Ogo Ujari to Ibom Isii on January 17, 2025. This pivotal moment paved the way for his presentation to Eze Aro and his Cabinet on February 26, 2025.
In a historic achievement, Ujari Koko Obasi has officially secured a seat at Eze Aro palace after three and a half decades. This accomplishment is a testament to the community’s resilience and determination.
